Students will begin to explore front and back floating, gliding and kicking as well as, entering and exiting the pool. Students should be comfortable in the water.
Level 1 introduces children to the excitement of all that the water holds. Participants will learn how to float on their front and back while gaining comfort in putting their faces in the water and full submersion. Additionally, students will learn the foundational movements of kicking, gliding, and arm scoops.
Level 2 introduces competitive freestyle and backstroke.
Level 2 is recommended for children just gaining independence and confidence in the water. In this level, children will also build off of their back and stomach floats as well as kicking from level one to support the arm movements for backstroke and freestyle.
-Swimming without the use of floatation aid
-Streamlined body position
-Introduction to opposing arms used in Freestyle and rotary breathing
-Competitive backstroke with opposing arm strokes
Level 3 combines the learned skills from levels 1 and 2 and works to refine freestyle and backstroke through drills and more hands off instruction.
Level 3 is recommended for swimmers who can swim at least 15 yards without aid. Students will also learn elementary backstroke providing them a foundation for competitive breaststroke. Additionally, dolphin kick will be introduced and butterfly if time permits.

Level 4 is recommended for a child who has proficient water skills and is confident swimming by themselves.
In level 4, students will fine tune freestyle and backstroke, piece together full breaststroke and butterfly strokes, flip turns and work on diving entries. Level 4 features more intense instruction and is formatted to mirror an age group swim practice.
