Piedmont Swim Team Lessons
Stefan comes to us from St. Paul's School in London where he as Aquatics Director has successfully started and built an aquatics program from the ground up. Prior to St. Paul's, he was an Elite Swim Coach at TGI Healthworks in New York City.
Stefan's wide experience ranges from teaching beginner, recreational and phobic swimmers of all ages to competitive swimmers competing in US Junior Olympics, US Eastern Zone Competitors, Swiss Age Group Nationals, UK Age Group Nationals. He has also trained professional triathletes and ex-US Olympic Pentathletes.

Coach Stefan will give private lessons primarily to adults and water phobic swimmers.
Daniel started swimming at 8 years old and since then he has amassed a wealth of teaching experience in working as a swim instructor for the City of Walnut Creek, the YMCA and AquaTech. Currently he is working as a Behavior Technician for CARD and is coaching the Green, Blue and Bronze Groups in the afternoons.
Melodie is a Junior at Piedmont High School and is currently a swimmer on Platinum, the highest competitive group of our team. Melodie enjoys swimming as well as interacting with her teammates, and is aiming to make competitive swimming an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for all participants. She has been on the team for eight years, and has participated in many competitions such as Zone 2�s and senior meets. In addition to having a passion for swimming, she enjoys spending her time lifeguarding at the Piedmont Community Pool. Having received training from the Piedmont Swim Team head coach and assistant coach, she is eager to teach children swimming and water safety skills.
Colby joins us from Concord where he was a seasonal Assistant Coach for the Terrapins Swim Team; an instructor at Little Dipper Aquatic Center; and the Head Coach at Gehringer Park Swim Team. Colby brings a wealth of technical knowledge and a knack for breaking swimming down into understandable terms and fun games for our swimmers! He attended a program in Kinesiology for sports training at Diablo Valley College and was Piedmont High School's Swim Team Head Coach for Spring, 2015, 2016 and 2019.
Giovanni is a PST alumni currently attending UC Santa Cruz and swimming for the Slugs. He has a decade of distinguished competitive swimming experience with both club teams and school teams. He has qualified for a wide range of meets including JO�s, Far Westerns, WACC Swimming Championships, NCS Championships, NCAA DIV3 PCSC Championships, and upcoming CA/NV Speedo Summer Sectionals. Giovanni is a committed swimmer, with an eye for technique. He hopes to encourage younger swimmers to enjoy the sport, help them improve their skills, and promote safe water practices.
Brian is a senior at Piedmont High School and is currently a swimmer on the Platnium Group of our competitive team. He has been on the team for seven years, qualifying for meets such as Junior Olympics and Far Westerns. Brian loves to swim and is great at connecting with other swimmers. Passionate about swimming, he strives to make himself as well as others around him, as best as they can be. Trained by Head Coach Stefan Bill and Assistant Coach Zoe Clancy-Clavere, he is excited to pass on knowledge of swimming and water safety to younger swimmers.
