Piedmont Swim Team Lessons
Stefan comes to us from St. Paul's School in London where he as Aquatics Director has successfully started and built an aquatics program from the ground up. Prior to St. Paul's, he was an Elite Swim Coach at TGI Healthworks in New York City.
Stefan's wide experience ranges from teaching beginner, recreational and phobic swimmers of all ages to competitive swimmers competing in US Junior Olympics, US Eastern Zone Competitors, Swiss Age Group Nationals, UK Age Group Nationals. He has also trained professional triathletes and ex-US Olympic Pentathletes.

Coach Stefan will give private lessons primarily to adults and water phobic swimmers.
Samantha is the oldest member of PST's gold group and has been team captain for two years. She is a senior at Bishop O'Dowd, and has been a member of the varsity swim team since freshman year. Samantha started swimming competitively in 2010, and joined PST in 2012. An enthusiastic athlete and teammate, she loves spending time with younger swimmers at practices and meets. Always striving for improvement, she has gained an understanding of the technical aspects of swimming through years of experience. As a fun and engaging leader, Samantha is eager to teach novice swimmers water safety and a love for the sport of swimming.
Zoe is a local of Piedmont and swam for the Piedmont Swim Team for seven years. She was the assistant manager of the Piedmont Pool, where she still lifeguards, used to swim instruct, and ensured the pool was operating smoothly. In addition to Piedmont, she has taught swim lessons in Fiji, Montana, the Florida Keys, and throughout the Bay Area.
Zoe brings extensive knowledge from her many years of competitive swim and teaching experience, ranging from instructing scuba divers to lifeguards. Possessing high expectations, she strives for each swimmers? technical advancement while encouraging a love for swimming! During the year, she pursues a Bachelors degree in biology in hopes of becoming a physician?s assistant.
Colby joins us from Concord where he was a seasonal Assistant Coach for the Terrapins Swim Team; an instructor at Little Dipper Aquatic Center; and the Head Coach at Gehringer Park Swim Team.
Colby brings a wealth of technical knowledge and a knack for breaking swimming down into understandable terms and fun games for our swimmers!
He attended a program in Kinesiology for sports training at Diablo Valley College and is Piedmont High School's Swim Team Head Coach for Spring, 2015 and 2016.
Brian is currently a swimmer on the Gold Group of our competitive team. He has been on the team for six years, qualifying for meets such as Junior Olympics and Far Westerns. Brian loves to swim and is great at connecting with other swimmers. Passionate about swimming, he strives to make himself as well as others around him, as best as they can be. Trained by Head Coach Stefan Bill and Assistant Coach Zoe Clancy-Clavere, he is excited to pass on knowledge of his own swimming to younger swimmers.
