Booster Club

Burnsville High School Swim & Dive Boosters

We are a non-profit organization for the sole benefit of promoting swimming and diving within our school and our community. The BHS girls and boys swim/dive teams have a combined Booster Club that supports, encourages, and advances the athletic program and related activities of the Burnsville High School Swim and Dive teams; financially supports the teams by providing supplemental funding for coaches, funding for team activities, equipment purchases and subsidies for eligible swim and dive families to offset the cost of participation; and develops leadership and organizational skills among swimmers and divers.

Board of Directors

Kelly Tomas - President and Fundraising Chair

Kelly has four kids that have attended Burnsville schools.  She has 2 daughters that swim, Megan and Anna, and Megan is a diver as well.  She became part of the booster board during the fall 2017 season.  She is passionate about helping and supporting our team.  She was instrumental in adding the diving team in 2017 and also worked hard to raise funds for new starting  blocks in 2018.  She will continue to coordinate and manage fundraising efforts throughout both the girls and boys seasons.  She believes by setting goals and working together, with full participation from student-athletes and families, a lot can be accomplished.  If you have fundraising suggestions, please reach out to her!

TBD - Co-Treasurer (Needed)

Bethany Roberts - Co-Treasurer

Bethany has two daughters on the BHS Girls Swim & Dive Team.  Her youngest, Ava, is a diver in 8th grade, and this is her second year on the team.   Her older daughter, Zoe, is in 10th grade and this is her third year as a swimmer.  Bethany's husband, Travis, serves as our team photographer.

Joy Piccolino - Volunteer Coordinator

Joy has two daughters who have been on the BHS Girls Swim & Dive Team.  Her youngest, Ava, is currently on the team.  Joy became part of the booster board at the end of the fall 2018 season.  Volunteers are an intergral part of the functioning of the team and volunteering is a great way to get to know other parents.  She would like to see more parents involved and hopes that this will buld a more cohesive group of parents to support the team.  If you have any questions about volunteering, don't hesitate to ask!
