What is Aqua Academy?

Once successfully completing the Learn to Swim program, the Norwin Aqua Club Aqua Academy focuses on the mechanical techniques involved with the four competitive strokes, their associated starts, turns and finishes. The swimming student experiences a small coach-to-swimmer ratio. The instruction is provided in a low-key setting. There is no athletic training or formal conditioning provided through this program. The program is designed to prepare the swimmer who successfully completes the program for the progression to the entry level on the Norwin Aqua Club. No Meets are included in this program.

Your son/daughter must try out for the team.  After evaluation by our coaching staff at tryouts your child will be referred to either swim lessons, aqua academy, or invited to join Norwin Aqua Club.  Aqua Academy typically starts a week after tryouts and are held for 8 weeks.

Our next Aqua Academy session will begin on Monday March 19
