This is an entry level group with ages as young as 4. Swimmers must be comfortable in the water without one on one supervision. The goal is to teach them basic skills and to be able to swim a length of the pool. Registration for the entire year is not required. Let us know the months your swimmer will swim!
Swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool and be at least 5 years old. Swimmers learn how to swim in a lane, basic swim strokes and work on endurance.
Swimmers must be able to follow direction and do a simple workout. They must know basic front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke and dolphin kick. They learn how to read a clock and push their comfort zone in the water. Training groups may be divided based on age.
This level is for swimmers who are ready to commit to a more intense workout. These swimmers are encouraged to push their boundaries in every workout, are taught skills to know if they are working and learn how to set goals. There are two levels: Gold is for those only wishing to train twice a week. For those swimmers who would like to improve their times and work towards Provincial Qualifying times, there is Gold Plus! They are able to train up to five times a week!
This group is for swimmers at or just below the Provincial and National level. There are up to eight training times available and a required dryland component. Five practices a week are the minimum commitment. This level is for swimmers who are ready to commit to a more intense workout. These swimmers are encouraged to push their boundaries in every workout, are taught skills to know if they are working and learn how to set goals.
Swimmers must be invited by the Coach to register for this group, regardless of their level of swimming.
