Practice Groups
8 & Under Little TIDE
● Practice available 4x per week for 45 minutes per practice
● This group may contain some rookie 9-10 years olds who are not very strong yet.
● Recommended Practice 3x per week.
Junior (9-12 year olds)
● Practice available 4x per week for 1 hour 15 minutes per practice
● C & B Level Swimmers
● Recommended Practice 3x per week
Pre-Senior (11-16 year olds)
● Practice available 5x per week for 1.5 hours per practice
○ Plus 30 minutes of dry lands 2-3x per week
● This group includes swimmers working toward state cuts
● Recommended Practice 3-4x per week
Senior (12-College)
● Practice 5x per week for 2 hours per practice
○ Plus 30 minutes of dry lands 2-3x per week
● This group includes swimmers who want to have a very intense practice. Swimmers
should be close to state cuts or better.
● Recommended Practice 4-5x per week (depending on goals and age of athlete)
