Boulder Swimming offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels.

It is our goal to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

 

Boulder Swim Team holds practices at the following locations:

  • East Boulder Recreation Center (EBRC)

  • North Boulder Recreation Center (NBRC)

  • Scott Carpenter Pool

Pre-Sectionals

11 and up

  • 2 State Cuts
  • BB Times or better
  • 6x 100 avg set of 1:10
  • 5 of 6 practices M-F
  • 4 Saturday practices a month
  • 6 meets for Winter
  • 5 for Summer

Blue

9 and up

  • 4+ BB times
  • 3 Silver State cuts
    6x 100 avg set of 1:20
  • 5 of 6 practices M-F
  • 3 Saturday practices a month
  • 6 meets for Winter
  • 5 meets for Summer

Purple

9 and up

  • 4+ B and 1 BB Times
  • 6x100s avg set on 1:30
  • 4 of 6 practices M-F
  • 2 Saturday practices a month
  • 5 meets for Winter
  • 3 for Summer

Red

9 and up

  • Proficient in all 4 competitive strokes
  • 5x100s avg set on 2:00
  • 3 of 6 practices M-F
  • 2 Saturday practices a month
  • 4 meets for winter
  • 3 for summer

Pink

11 and under

  • Proficient 3 of 4 strokes
  • Swim 100 yds with flip turns and streamlines
  • 3 of 4 practices M-Th
  • 1 Friday or Saturday practice a month
  • 3 meets for winter
  • 2 for summer

White

10 and under

  • Proficient 2 of 4 strokes
  • Swim a 50 yd without stopping
  • 2 of 4 practices M-Th
  • 2 meets for winter
  • 1 meet for summer
