General Information
Cardinal Dive Club is, a year-round competitive springboard and platform diving program, provides diving instruction to the greater Louisville and Southern Indiana regional area.

The mission of Cardinal Dive Club  is to provide all athletes with the greatest opportunity to be successful at any level of diving, whether that be summer league or national competition.  Cardinal Dive Club provides divers with a fun atmosphere that will lead to a rewarding diving experience.p

Cardinal Dive Club is a reformation of Lakeside Diving which for over 75 years has produced some of the nation’s finest age-group and senior national divers and is considered one of the most well respected springboard and platform diving instructional programs in the country. It is our intention to carry on this fine tradition by offering top notch diving instruction to all divers. 

Cardinal Dive Club Goals

  • Provide each diving family a rich and rewarding diving experience.

  • Provide a safe an fun diving environment, utilizing the best equipment available.

  • Develop Cardinal Dive Club’s facilities to help divers learn quickly, safely and painlessly.

  • Produce quality divers capable of winning league, high school, and national championships.

TeamsCardinal Diving Club
Cardinal Dive Club currently offers several levels of diving from which to choose. The goal is to place the athlete in that level which best suits the individual’s level of skill and experience. All members of the Elite Group compete as members of The Cardinal Diving Club.

Elite members train five days a week at the University of Louisville pool.  Training sessions are scheduled from :

Winter - 4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. 

Summer   1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Elite  members include those individuals who are  able to compete on both one- and three-meter springboards and on platform.  

The main goal of this group is to compete against the best competition in the country.

$225.00/month  plus annual competitive membership

Developmental Diving
This group trains at the University of Louisville pool and is comprised of aspiring divers who need to learn the fundamentals of diving and competition or those divers wishing to sharpen existing skills.  

Winter- Training sessions for the Developmental Groups are Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday  from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. 

Summer - Monday  thru Thursday from 1:00pm pto 2:00pm  any days that fit your schedule.p

The main goal of this group is to learn the basics and have a lot of fun.

$50.00/month for 1 day/week   $100.00/month for 2 days/week  $150.00/ month for 3 days/week.    $200.00/month for 4 days/week.   Plus annual competitive membership

High School Diving
The High School Group trains at the University of Louisville pool and is tailored to those divers who want to train and compete in high school competitions but do not want to commit to year-round training and competitions within USA Diving and the Amateur Athletic Union.

Winter-The high school group trains any 3 days Monday thru Thursday from 5:00-6:00 pm at the University of Louisville.

Summer-  Any three days Monday thru Friday from 1:00pm to 2:30pm 

$150.00/ month    Plus annual competitive membership

Natatorium Membership:  All athletes are required to be members of the Natatorium.    A Competitive membership is$100/ year.  The 2nd athlete in the family is $75/yr and the 3rd athlete in the family is $50/yr.  Your may purchase or renew your membership at the front desk.
