This is our entry level group. An athlete need not be able to swim to enter this group, but should be comfortable putting their face in the water. Coaches are in the water with the swimmers for the duration of the practice, and work to build key swimming skills, with the goal of having the swimmer able to swim a length of the pool by the end of the season.
Workout Days/Times: Monday-Friday -- 8:50-9:30 AM, 9:40-10:20 AM, 10:30-11:10 AM, 11:20-Noon
*You will need to sign up for a specific prep team practice upon registration. This is new this year to help maintain the swimmer to coaches ratio.
White Group (Swim Team)
From the Prep Team, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn technique. Athletes in this group must be able to complete one length of the pool (25 meters) unassisted.
White Group Lead Coach:

Green Group (Swim Team)
From the White group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group are usually at least 9 years old, but there can be exceptions with significant experience. This group is exposed to more significant training, while still maintaining a focus of developing technique. Competing at swim meets is highly encouraged.

Gold Group (Swim Team)
This group is geared toward our middle-school aged swimmers (entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade). Coaches introduce more rigorous training, with the goal of developing strong aerobic endurance.

High School Group
All athletes in this group should be entering either the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the upcoming school year. Athletes entering the high school group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present.
