The Novaquatics swim team offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Novaquatics swim team to offer age-specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of their individual abilities.
USA Swimming Member
USA Swimming, Inc. (USA-S) is the National Governing Body for amateur competitive swimming in the United States. USA-S swim meets are designed to protect the swimmer, provide fair and equitable conditions of competition, and promote uniformity in the sport so no swimmer shall obtain an unfair advantage over another. As a member of USA-S, Nova abides by the same rules and regulations as all other USA-S member swim teams. Nova is a Silver Medal Member of USA Swimming, which recognizes our program among the top aquatics programs in the country. Southern California Swimming
Southern California Swimming (SCS) is a local swimming committee of USA Swimming, and is our Local Swimming Committee (LSC). It is one of 59 LSC s that are part of USA-S. It is the organization that governs the local meets that your swimmers participate in. SCS is made up of five Sections: Coastal, Eastern, Olympic, Metro, and Orange. Nova belongs to the Orange Section of Southern California Swimming. Nova is one of over 35 teams which make up this section. The Orange Section is made up of teams primarily located in Orange County.
Novaquatics is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Established in 1981, Novaquatics have been a trailblazer in the organized sport of competitive swimming. While other teams' coaches are handling both training swimmers and managing staff and parents, our coaches' #1 priority is bringing out the best in our swimmers and not administrative work. Our organization prides itself for its stability in coaching and leadership.
