Coaches Letter

Dear Skyline family,

I hope everyone is as excited as I am to start the 2021 Summer Swim season, especially because our return is long overdue. Getting to know each one of you (parents and swimmers included) and making sure I am helping in any way possible is my main priority, so I will attached to this my contact information. My requirements for this summer will be listed below that way we can get up and running smoothly and then continue to have a successful season.

Head Coach: Ellie Appleton

Attendance Requirements:

Practice attendance will not be mandatory but will be highly encouraged. However, those who attend practice regularly will have priority when rostering for meets begins. Those who partake in club swimming or long course do not have to meet this requirement. Please keep in mind that the goal of our practices is to improve the swimmers’ skills and help them reach their full potential.

Meet attendance is STRONGLY encouraged. To be able to compete in championships at the end of the season (tentative), you must swim in at least 4 meets. If you cannot make it to any one of the meets you must go to Skyline’s website and state that you cannot attend said meet. Creating the rosters for each meet takes a lot of time, so please have the absence form filled out by Thursday at noon for a Saturday meet or Monday by noon for a Wednesday meet. If there is a last-minute emergency that keeps your swimmer from being able to compete, please text or email me directly ASAP.

Equipment Requirements:
