Swim Lessons at Dunsinane - 2021
Dunsinane will be offering swim lessons for 2021 for club members.
We offer lessons for three levels of swimmers, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
Lessons are held Monday - Thursdays for a total of 8 lessons per session. $50 per child per session

Level 1 - Water Discovery - This level introduces your swimmer to the water environment through exploration and encourages them to enjoy themselves while learning about the water.
Water Discovery Skills
- Breath control blow bubbles
- Swim on Front - front tow, front float
- Swim on Back - back tow, back float
- Water Safety - roll, grab wall
Level 2 - Beginner - This level lays the foundation that allows for a student's future progress in swimming. Students in this level focus on the following:
- Exploring the aquatic environment and personal skills with instructor help
- Developing basic skills to propel and glide through the water with instructor help
- learning basic aquatic safety and accepting some of the responsibility for safe practices
Level 3 - Water Stamina/Stroke Introduction - In this level students learn how to swim safely from a longer distance than in previous levels. This level also introduces rhythmic breathing and integrated arm and leg action. Students will focus on the following:
- Integrating arm action, leg action, and rhythmic breathing in back and front glides.
- Developing forward movement on the front and back.
- Practicing skills and safety techniques in deep water.
