Support Walnut Creek’s Olympic Legacy and our community pool!
The Walnut Creek Aquanuts (WCA) were founded in 1968 at Larkey Swim Center with just two swimmers and a big dream. Since then more than 4000 swimmers have come through the program, including athletes from around the world. WCA has earned National, International and Olympic success and we are proud of our contribution to the community. In 2013, WCA earned a spot on the hit television show America's Got Talent and we recently cheered on Aquanut, Mariya Koroleva, at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio.
Now after 50 years of service to Walnut Creek and surrounding neighbors, Larkey Swim Center has had a major renovation. In response, the Walnut Creek Aquanuts, partnering with City of Walnut Creek and Walnut Creek Civic Pride Foundation, embarked on a fundraising effort to meet our share of cost and we could use your support.
