Swim Groups

 

Training Groups:

Senior Group: 8th-12th Grade- This group is for swimmers who are serious about training and competition.  Conditioning and aerobic development are priorities, along with stroke technique and efficiency. This group will practice Monday- Friday from 5:30-7 pm. Coaches have sole discretion of placement of all athletes for each group.

Junior Group:  Ages 9-12- This group will work on all strokes, turns, dives and conditioning throughout the season. The main focus of this group is to improve technique and prepare the athletes for the senior group and USA competitions. This group will practice Monday- Friday from 5:30-7 pm.  Coaches have sole discretion of placement of all athletes for each group.

Age Group: 8 and unders- This group will stress learning all four competitive strokes and will train and condition swimmers for competition. Focus will be on learning proper technique and overall skill development in the pool. This group will practice Monday- Friday from 5:30-6:30 pm.  Coaches have sole discretion of placement of athletes for each group.

Masters: This group is open for all athletes over 18.  All levels will be accepted with emphasis on personal improvements.  This group will focus on improving efficiency for master’s competitions, triathlons, or recreational swimming. This group will practice Monday- Friday from 5:30-7 pm.
