The Red Stars is made up of swimmers in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade who can swim at least 25 yards. This group focuses on proper body positioning and developing a strong kick. Red Stars learn the four competitive strokes, starts, and turns. We recommend Red Stars attend at least two practices per week.
Swimmers in this group are 3rd through 6th graders who can swim all four competitive strokes legally and are ready for competitive meets. Swimmers in this group prepare to swim and compete in all events at swim meets. We recommend White Stars attend 3-4 practices per week.
Swimmers entering this group are in the 7th and 8th grades and display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. Athletes in this group train for the 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle. Neutron Stars should attend 4-5 practices per week.
Super Giant Stars
Swimmers entering this group must display a strong desire to perform at their highest level. The Super Giant Stars focus on strength, conditioning, and stroke refinement. Swimmers in this group are expected to participate in all meets. Super Giant Stars should attend 4-5 practices per week.
