The Red Stars is made up of swimmers 8 years old and younger and can swim at least 25 yards. This group focuses on proper body positioning and developing a strong kick. Red Stars learn the four competitive strokes, starts, and turns. We recommend Red Stars attend 1-2 practices per week.
Swimmers in this group are 9 and 10-year-olds, can swim all four competitive strokes legally, and are ready for competitive meets. Swimmers in this group prepare to swim and compete in all events at swim meets. We recommend White Stars attend 2 practices per week.
Swimmers in this group are 11 and 12-year-olds, can swim all four strokes competitively, and are excited about competitive swimming. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. We recommend Blue Stars attend 3-4 practices per week.
Swimmers entering this group are 13 and 14-year-olds who display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. Athletes in this group train for the 200 Individual Medley and the 500 Freestyle. Neutron Stars should attend 4 practices per week.
Super Giant Stars
Swimmers entering this group must display a strong desire to perform at their highest level. The Super Giant Stars focus on strength, conditioning, and stroke refinement. Swimmers in this group are expected to participate in all meets. Super Giant Stars should attend 4 practices per week.
