Practice Schedule

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled practice time to either help with lane lines for the first practice, to organize your equipment used in practice, and to stretch. 

Blue Group: 8:15 to 10:00 A.M. Monday through Friday

Please arrive at 8 A.M. to help with lane lines, flags, the clock, and starting blocks, as well as organize your equipment and stretch.

This group will consist of 13 and overs, as well as some of our more experienced 12 year olds who can handle a longer and more challenging workout. I will differentiate the workout as needed, but our focus will be on preparing swimmers to compete at a high level. Practices will include a proper warmup, stroke drills, a kicking set, endurance and quality sets, and starts, breakouts, turns, and finishes to prepare for competition.

White Group: 10:00 to 11:15 A.M. Monday through Friday

Please arrive at 9:45 to organize your equipment, stretch, and so you're ready to practice at 10 A.M.

This group will consist of 9 and 10 year olds, as well as 11 and 12 year old swimmers who are not quite ready for a longer workout with the junior and senior high school age swimmers and the more experienced 12 year olds. Practices will include a proper warmup, stroke drills, a kicking set, endurance and/or quality swim sets, and a focus on starts, breakouts, turns, and finishes to prepare for competition.

White Group Coaches: Coach Scott and Annie Williams

8 and Under Group: 11:15 to 12 noon Monday through Friday

Please arrive at 11:00 to organize your equipment, and be ready to swim at 11:15 A.M.

The 8 and Under Group will consist of swimmers who perhaps have some experience competing and are able to swim all four strokes. We will focus on expanding their mastery of the four strokes, and practices will include a proper warmup, stroke drills, kicking, stroke refinement, and starts, breakouts, and finishes to prepare for competition.

Developmental Group: 11:15 until 12 noon Monday through Friday

Please arrive at 11:00 and be ready to start practice at 11:15 A.M.

The purpose of the Developmental Group is to provide novice swimmers with a basic understanding of the four competitive strokes, the endurance necessary to complete 25 meters of continuous swimming, and a grasp of competitive swimming. Developmental swimmers may compete in meets, provided they can swim 25 meters of swimming unassisted. We will focus on kicking, stroke work, proper breathing, starts, breakouts, and finishes to prepare for competition. 

Developmental Coach: Trevor Jackson
