Gulf Coast Swim Team (GCST) was formed on September 1, 1998. We grew from just a few swimmers to a team of over 150 swimmers in Southwest Florida.
Our swimmers have broken many Florida Swimming, and National Age Group records since our inception. We are focused on developing young swimmers to the highest levels of the sport. We have had many National Top 16 swimmers, High School State Champions, and Olympic Trials Qualifiers, all competing from local to National levels as well as in college.
We have locations throughout Southwest Florida in North Ft. Myers, Fort Myers, Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), and Bonita Springs.
Gulf Coast Swim Team is member in good standing of the Florida Swimming LSC, and United States Swimming.
Gulf Coast Swim Team is run by Southwest Florida Swim Club, Inc (SFSCI), which is a non-profit 501 c-3 corporation as determined by the IRS, and is a sales tax exempt non-profit corporation registered as such with the State of Florida.
Gulf Coast Swim Team teaches children to become competitive swimmers as they learn all aspects of training and racing in competition.
We run some of the largest area swim meets, from local, to national events with our parent volunteers.
We are focused on the swimmers success in the present and the future in the pool, and academically.
GCST is inclusive, and accepts anyone that has a desire to learn, and excel to the best of their ability.
