Kevin Chao

Swimming has been a major part in my life since I joined the Riptide when I was five. Since then, I have swam for Nova for the past seven years. I am on their National team and specialize in mid and long distance. Currently, I attend Crean Lutheran High School and will be going into my Senior year. At Crean, I have received All League Honors, represented Crean at CIF finals, and at CIF State finals. This is my third year coaching for the Riptide and I am looking forward to continuing to give back to the Northpark community and having a fantastic summer coaching. Go Riptide!

Julia Mangum

My name is Julia Mangum, and I am a rising sophomore at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, California. I have been on the Riptide swim team for nine years, and have participated in year round conditioning with Coach Simon for the last few years. My favorite event is Butterfly, I will be swimming for the team in the summer of 2016 on the 15-18 age category. I really love working with kids and I am honored and excited to be one of your coaches this summer. See you soon!

Matthew Ludovico

I’m Matthew Ludovico and I’m going to be a Junior this fall at Mater Dei High School. I have been swimming for Riptide for   10 years now and have swam outside of Riptide like SoCal Aquatics for a year, Nova for two years, and now I’m currently swimming for my school’s team. I also love to dance, eat food, play video games (any typical normal guy stuff ) and meet and talk to new people! I’m very excited to coach you all and for this upcoming swim season! See you in the water!
