Two and Four Day Per Week Options Available

Designed to increase your young athlete’s general coordination, fitness and body strength, the Youth Fitness Program at Blackhawk Country Club will build your athlete’s confidence and ability. This training program is customized specifically for young athletes ages 11-18 and will help them stay active during the winter months. The program runs from late November to late January and will be held indoors Monday through Thursday at Blackhawk’s new Fitness Center


Program Outline

Young and developing athletes from any sport benefit when they are coordinated and have body awareness and control. The program is designed to build general coordination, fitness and body strength through extensive training and technical instruction. Program is limited to participants aged 11 to 18 and will be run by both aquatic coaching staff members, professional trainers and yoga instructors on staff at the Fitness Center.

Space is limited to 30 participants.


Training Objectives & Focus

  • General coordination, fitness and body strength
  • Perfecting technical efficiency and precision
  • Increasing core strength and flexibility through resistance, stretching and yoga


Required Gear

All athletes must come to class in appropriate workout attire, (good sneaker, no denim and no street clothing) bring a yoga mat and water bottle to each class.

Blackhawk Members $270 $350 BHCC Member #

Two (2) days per week option offers flexible days of your choice (Monday through Thursday).  Unfortunately, you can not make up or bank missed days from prior practices to be applied toward future dates.

  • Program starts:  Monday, November 25th, 2019

  • Location:  Studio at the Fitness Center (adjacent to the swimming pool)  
  • Monday & Wednesday classes:  Circuit training
  • Tuesday & Thursday classes:  Yoga

This is a drop off class. Therefore, parents are expected to wait in their cars or outside the fitness room. 


Winter Break Practice

The program will offer practices during winter break with the exception of the following days:

  • Wednesday, December 25
  • Tuesday, December 31 
  • Wednesday, January 1
  • Monday, January 20
