Emerald Aquatics is a non-profit 501-C-3 organization

We need your support not only financially but also in-kind. Like most non-profit agencies, Emerald Aquatics functions on a very efficient budget, relying on the community for assistance through in-kind donations.

All contributions are tax deductible.

Recruit Corporate & Private Sponsors

Many companies offer team sponsorships and donations. This is a great way for our team to receive funds and supply local businesses with advertising. All sponsorships and donations are tax deductible. Contact Robyn Dickens for more information (541-513-4370).

This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! Swimmers gather pledges from family, friends, neighbors or businesses. On the day of the lap-a-thon the swimmers complete as many laps as they can in 1 hour. 100% of the swimmers pledges are credited to their $200 fundraising requirement! Fundraising packets will be available before the lap-a-thon. All donations are tax deductible. Contact Rebecca Smith for more information (541-968-2587).

All fundraisers must be approved by the board first. Those listed above have already been approved.

Each year we require that swim families volunteer at least 20 hours. The following are ways to accomplish this.

Timing at meets

Each meet we attend requires a lot of lane timers or the swimmers times may not be counted or secured. Signup sheets are located near the starting blocks during the meet. At some meets Emerald Aquatics is assigned a lane or two to provide timing volunteers for. Not sure how? Most team parents have timed. Just ask and we will show you how! It makes the time go by faster and it’s the best seat in the house! Email Coach Jennifer for more information.

Become an Official

The meet officials in the white shirts you see on deck are volunteers. Most are parents just like you! The training is free. Email Coach Jennifer for more information.

Mike Morris Swim Meet

Our team co-hosts this meet every year in either June or July at Amazon Pool. We must have volunteers each year. Jobs vary so there are plenty of opportunities. Typically, two or three parents head this committee and send out, via e-mail, sign-up sheets for job positions.

Valley-Coast Swim League (VCSL) Championship Swim Meet

Our team hosts this meet on a rotation with the other teams in the VCSL. We must have volunteers on our years to host. Jobs vary so there are plenty of opportunities. Typically, one or two parents head this committee and send out, via e-mail, sign-up sheets for the job positions.
