Swim Groups

DARE Aquatics offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of our team to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Pre-Competition Group

This is our entry level group. An athlete is recommended to have basic swimming and water safety knowledge to enter this group.


Pre-Competition Group Coach: Coach Yvonne and Coach DK

Practice Days/Times:

           Session #1: M-F 4:45-5:45PM
           Session #2: M-F 6:00-7:00PM

 

Age-group Swimming Group

Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn technique. Athletes in this group are encouraged to participate in USA Swimming meets regularly.


Age-group Swimming Group Coaches: Coach DK and Coach Lauren

Practice Days/Times: 

Age-group I

           Session #1: M-F 4:30-5:45PM (includes light dry land streching) 
           Session #2: M-F 5:45-7:00PM (includes light dry land streching) 

 

Age-group II

Dry Land: M-F 4:00-4:30 PM
Wet Training (Swimming): M-F 4:30-6:00 PM, S 7:00-9:00 AM

 

Senior Development Group

Athletes in this group are usually at least 13 years old and have at least 3-4 years of experience with professional coached swim team and USA Swimming meets. Competing at swim meets regularly is a must for this group.


Senior Development Group Coach: Coach Joy

Practice Days/Times: 

Wet Training (Swimming): M-F 4:00-6:00 PM, S 7:00-9:00 AM
Dry Land: M-F 6:00-7:00 PM

 

Senior Group

Minimum age for entry into this group is 13 years old. Athletes entering this group are likely have achieved or nearly achieved Sectional cuts or above. Athletes must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present.

Wet Training (Swimming): M-F 4:00-6:00 PM, S 7:00-9:00 AM
Dry Land: M-F 6:00-7:00 PM
