Refund Policy

Withdrawal and Refund Policy 2020/2021

A refund is available to swimmers who withdraw from CBAC’s competitive and development programs based on the table below. A $20.00 administration fee is deducted from all refund requests.

S/NC registration fees are not refunded.

Swim meet fees for meets entered by the swimmer prior to withdrawal are not refunded.

Credits or refunds will not be provided for missed practices, including those as a result of injury or illness. Although beyond the swim club’s control, some form of refund may be considered at the end of the swim year should an athlete miss a significant amount of training time due to COVID-19.

Withdraw from program January 1 to March 31 of given year

30% refund of the year’s fees if registration is paid in full at the beginning of the swim season

Withdraw from program post April 1

No refund.

Miniphins Program Refund Policy

  • Full refund, less $20 Administration Fee, provided the swimmer has not attended any practices and has made written notice to the CBAC Administrator  [email protected] prior to the beginning of the program for which the swimmer is registered.
  • No refund after the start of the Miniphins session for which a swimmer is registered.

Accounts Receivable Non-sufficient funds (NSF) Cheques or Payments:  Cheques or payments returned by the bank for insufficient funds shall be subject to a $25.00 NSF fee in addition to the missed payment.  The missed payment amount must be replaced within two weeks along with the NSF fee.  If payment is not received within two weeks, the swimmer(s) will not be allowed to practice with CBAC or participate in any CBAC activities, including swim meets, until their account is balanced.  In the event that a member provides two NSF cheques to the Club in one season, all future payments must be paid by credit card.  A member’s financial obligation to CBAC continues in the event of non-payment, except in accordance with the terms of this policy.
