Greg Junemann is a life-long fitness enthusiast, who decided to become a yoga teacher upon his retirement from his full-time career. He began practicing yoga while training for his first marathon in 2003 and has been devoted to the practice ever since. Having initially been drawn to yoga to increase his physical flexibility, Greg quickly discovered the calming effects yoga has on the mind in addition to yoga’s positive impact on the body.
Greg’s teaching preference includes a smooth-flowing Vinyasa-style, and he occasionally adds some gentle tai chi arm movements to his classes. Upon the completion of his 200-hour training through Milwaukee’s Yama Yoga studio, Greg then acquired his CYT-200 as a nationally certified teacher through Yoga Alliance.
Greg has an extensive background in coaching youth athletics. He is a licensed soccer coach (beginner through U-19) and has coached boys, girls, and co-ed teams in soccer and basketball.
