AGIII represents the highest level of Age Group training at YFD. It is designed for swimmers 11-13 years of age who have shown a high level of commitment as well as a mastery of all four strokes. Swimmers in this group must meet all practice and meet commitments. Focus will be on aerobic training and race-pace work.

Practice Requirements
|
There are six practices offered each week. Swimmers are required to make at least four of those. Five is encouraged.

Qualifications
|
First-time swimmers will be accepted on a limited basis. Coaches will look for great technique as well as speed in tryouts.
Coaches will look at times, dedication, work ethic, and maturity when deciding which swimmers will move to AGIII from within the team.

Meet Requirements
|
AGIII swimmers are required to attend one swim meet a month and are expected to attend all championship meets for which they qualify (MIT in December, Junior Olympics in March and July, and the Silver and Bronze Championships in the spring.)
