Summer Clinics 2020

Breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, fly,

We’re so excited, we could almost cry!

It’s not the season we thought it would be,

But we have some great news that we want you to see!

Gator families, we hope you are well,

It’s time to SIGN UP! Join us!  It sure will be swell!

We are thrilled to announce that all returning Gators will have access to Menlo Pool this summer!  We are fortunate to be able to use the pool for six weeks and have developed two-week clinics to give as many opportunities as possible for all Gators.  The clinics will be held in three sessions:

Head Coach: Chris Bashaar, Email : [email protected]

Swim Session I:  July 20-July 31

Registration Deadline:  July 17

Swim Session II:  August 3-August 14

Registration Deadline:  July 31

Swim Session III:  August 17-August 28

Registration Deadline: August 14

You may sign your swimmer up for more than one clinic session.  Due to the decreased coaching staff and safety, we are requiring previous swim league experience prior to this summer.  Also, please note, that all new PAC swim team members must pass the deep water test at Menlo Pool. If you do not have experience on the swim team and are interested in joining please email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to answer any questions and discuss if your athlete is a good fit to join our swim clinic.

The cost per swimmer is $30 per swim clinic session.  You will also need to purchase a Menlo pool membership for your child which will be $55 per swimmer for the summer.

Please visit to purchase your pool membership.  If you do not have an account on the borough website, create one first.  Sign in to your account.  Click on register and then 2020 Menlo Aquatics Center Membership.  Scroll to the very bottom of the page and you will see the PAC individual membership to add to your cart..

PAC and its members must adhere to all social distancing guidelines set forth by Menlo Pool:

  1. There will be specific instructions on how to enter and exit the pool.

  2. All swimmers will be required to enter the facility wearing a mask, check-in at the front desk, then head to the assigned area.

  3. Bags and belongings will be kept in designated family unit squares/pods on the grass.

  4. Nobody is allowed on the concrete area, only athletes and coaches.

  5. All athletes must show up in their swimsuit and leave in their swimsuit. Locker room use for changing purposes will not be allowed.  If you need to use the bathroom, you must wear a mask and there will be a limit to the number of people in the restroom at one time.

  6. No deck changing will be permitted either.

You will be asked to sign a waiver during PAC and Menlo registration agreeing to these guidelines in order to keep our swimmers and families safe.  Parents will be permitted to enter the pool for practice times but must remain in the designated family areas/pods on the grass.

We are allowing a 15-minute break between sessions for transitions to limit the number of people entering and exiting the pool at one time.  Due to the condensed time frame and safety guidelines, PAC will also limit the number of swimmers in each lane. The coaches are working on ways to maintain distances among the swimmers during practice.  For now, PAC families will have priority when registering.  If additional spots remain, we may offer our clinic to other local swim teams.

When registering, you will need to review the three practice tiers and swim requirements for each tier.  The coaches will be reviewing the registration to make sure your swimmer is in the appropriate clinic group and will contact you if a change needs to be made.

The following tiers will meet Monday -Friday at these times each day:

Black:  8:00-9:15 AM - 6 Athletes per lane, 3 each end of the pool
