 MAX Aquatics COVID 19 Protocols and Facility Re-Opening

 

Facility

Do NOT ENTER if:

  1. You have a fever
  2. Shortness of breath
  3. Regular coughing
  4. Live with or have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive
  5. Have tested positive
    (Signage posted at front gate and front office Door)


Facemasks:
Everyone entering the facility must wear a facemask at all times not in the water. This includes athletes as they arrive and get prepared to enter the pool.

 

Partial closed deck practice:
There will be 6ft markers on the bleachers only. All other guests will be asked to one-way enter and one-way exit only. (Please see attached Visuals). Note, we are currently operating under a closed Deck. You may enter and exit with athlete. The bleachers are currently closed.

 

Locker-rooms:
Plan on arriving in SWIM ready workout No Locker rooms or changing areas will be available. Plan on wearing your suit to and from practice and showering at home. Restrooms will be as needed and one at a time/gender

 

Social Distancing and Training

 

Bags and equipment storage:
All swimmers must maintain 8ft distance from each other while on deck and in the pool. Refer to X’s marked on deck to store your clothing while training

 

Equipment:
·      All swimmers must bring their own equipment

·      No sharing equipment. In addition, the facility will have no equipment available

·      Bring a full water bottle to avoid utilizing water fountains. They will not be accessible

 

Social Distance Enter/Exit:
See the following diagram from USA Swimming regarding in water and out of water entry. (Please note, at most we will only be conducting 3 swimmers a lane. The following references up to 6. The enter/exit remains the same).

There is no lane swapping after assignment unless moved by the Coaching Staff.

Training:
All training will be conducted in PODS. Each group has specific training times and days to reduce possible exposure. This includes quarantine protocols by PODS. (See Quarantine Protocols) Athletes will remain 6ft apart during training at all times. See the following diagram from USA Swimming regarding in water spacing. (Please note, we have an 8-lane facility, spacing remains the same).

Dry land Practice:
·      The front of the facility will not be available

·      The pool deck will have 8ft marking for stretching exercises for participants  

 

Quarantine Protocols

 

Do NOT ENTER if:

  1. You have a fever
  2. Shortness of breath
  3. Regular coughing
  4. Live with or have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive
  5. Have tested positive
    (Signage posted at front gate and front office Door)

 

If you have been in contact close contact with a person who has tested positive or if you have tested positive, you must notify the coaching staff immediately.

The athlete must quarantine stay at home orders for 10 days per the CDC Guidelines. After which, they may return to practice. (The athletes can still login to their regular ZOOM drylands with their Coaching staff. )

 

If an athlete has tested positive, all lane mates are notified immediately from the coaching staff and the entire Group (POD) Will quarantine for 10 days from the date last attended.
