Training Groups:

The Gold group will be set up to prepare swimmers for competitive swimming. The focus will be on training and conditioning. This group is intended for swimmers 13 and older. These swimmers will train 2 hours per day and 5 days per week.

The Silver groups will focus on technique and development while also improving conditioning level. We will also prepare swimmers who are interested in competitive swimming. Competitive experience is encouraged but not required. Must be able to swim strokes legally for extended periods. This group is intended for swimmers between 8-13 years old. Silver swimmers will swim 3 days a week.

The Bronze group will work on developing competitive swimming skills such as stroke technique, starts and turns and will introduce swimmers to interval training. No competitive experience is necessary but participants must have basic swimming skills that will allow them keep moving in the water for an hour. This is not a lesson. Our goal is to develop the swimming endurance necessary to allow swimmers to move on to the Silver level. We will also prepare swimmers who are interested in competitive swimming. This group is intended for swimmers 9 and under. These swimmers will train 1 hour/day, 2 days/week.

Ithaca College Swim Clinic Registration

There are a few different parts to our registration process.

1st, each swimmer must register for the Swim clinic through Fusion with Ithaca College.

Register online at

If you aren’t already in the Ithaca College System, you will need to create an adult account, then add your children to the account when registering.

We will use the email you provide during registration for communication.

2nd, register through the Chargers Ithaca website.

Within this registration you will be able to select the training group and competitive option.

Why two fees?

The 1st fee supports the IC swim teams and facility use.

The 2nd fee enables us to pay our coaches and the competitive fee supports our swimmers at competitions.

There will be a parents meeting on Wednesday June 1 at 5:15pm to discuss any questions about registration and changes to the program.
