Administration

Utica Shelby Swim Club is administered by an Executive Board composed of six parent volunteers and the Aquatics Director. Click on the Board Members page under Administration for the current Board and a description of each position’s responsibilities. Each Director serves a term of two years.

The Executive Board is responsible for the following:
        Conducting all club business,
        Coordinating all club activities, and
        Establishing and maintaining operating policies, facilities, coaching
                    staff, and funding.

Committees have been organized to coordinate the ongoing activities of the Club. Click on the Committees page under Administration for the 2012 - 2013 Committees, their functions, and their volunteer chairs.

The coaching staff consists of a head coach, and several assistant coaches. The coaches provide a competitive training environment for the development of swimmers with varying goals and skill levels. Click on the Coach Biographies page (also under Administration) to learn more about them.
