The Wellington Dolphins Swim Team requires that all swimmers be able to swim 25 meters unassisted in order to participate on the Wellington Dolphins Summer Competitive team, or in our Off-Season program. This is for your child's safety.
If you are unsure of your child's ability to swim 25 meters unassisted, please contact us, and we can make arrangements to have our coaches assess their ability BEFORE registering your child. If you register your child and then decide they are not ready to be on the swim team, you will be subject to possible fees per our refund policy.
If your child is unable to swim 25 meters unassisted, you may want to consider registering them for our Mini Dolphin program. Details about the Mini Dolphins can be found HERE, along with frequently asked questions about this program.
Once on the team, your child will be expected to compete in swim meets. It is not required that your child(ren) swim in every meet, but take note that the PWSL has Divisonal eligibility rules that require participation in at least two Dual-meets in order to compete in Divisionals.
If you are thinking about joining, please also be aware of our Refund and Return Check Policy.
It is not required that you live in the Wellington Community to be a member of the Wellington Dolphins.
