Pacific Coast All-Star Meet
Each January, Southern California Swimming takes up to 32 swimmers to the Pacific Coast All-Star Meet to compete against teams from Oregon, Pacific Northwest, and Southern California. To be eligible, a swimmer must be between the ages of 11-14 and a current member of Southern California Swimming.
The Pacific Coast All-Star meet is held at the beginning of January for two days between the All-Stars from Southern California Swimming, Pacific Swimming, Pacific Northwest Swimming, and Oregon Swimming. Meet sites rotate through the team member Local Swim Committees. Eight (8) swimmers in the 11-12 and 13-14 Age Groups are selected for this team based on the combined results from competitions ranging from September 1 to the conclusion of Winter Sectionals. Swimmers selected for this meet are not eligible for the SCS All Star Festival.
NOTE: "The top six swimmers in the 11-12, and 13-14 age-groups, using the low ball scoring procedure, plus two 'Wild Cards' selected by the All-Star Coaching Staff, will be considered for the Pacific Coast All-Star Meet. The following 32 swimmers in the 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14 age-groups will be considered for the SCS Swim Festival using the same scoring procedure.
