Mini Team Policy/Procedure

The Mini Team will be organized each season into several groups of equal ability by the coaching staff. There will be no official coach evaluations.  Please review the information below and select group you feel best reflects your swimmer's ability.  The coaches will adjust the groups accordingly once practice starts.

The only prerequisite is a willingness to put your head under the water.  Practices will be 30 minutes in length depending upon the ability group. During the season, the coaching staff will continue to assess skills. Mini Team swimmers who demonstrate readiness will be provided the opportunity to advance to the 8 & under practice if they choose.

All 7 & 8 years old who are able to swim across the pool are welcome to attend the 8 & under practice that starts on May 29th. The coaches will place swimmers in either the Mini Team or the 8 & under practice.
