Co-Head Coach Andrew Hays:

Hello Tsunami swimmers and family! My name is Andrew Hays and I am thrilled to be coming on this year as your new Co-Head Coach. I was around on a few different occasions last season just to watch, and the vibe I got from the whole team honestly made me realize how much I wanted to make my way back to the recreational side of swimming where it all started for me. I started swimming when I was 5 years old and I swam all the way up until I was 19. Right after I finished swimming competitively, I immediately went on to coach for the Folsom Tigersharks for 3 seasons. After my 3rd season I decided I wanted to continue to hone my craft as a coach, but at a higher level. So I got a job as an Head Age Group coach with the Foothill Aquasharks Swim Team, who were a USA Swimming year around team. I coached for them for 3 years before we transitioned into what is now known as LTNC (Life Time Northern California). I coached for another 2.5 years with Life Time, coaching countless swimmers to big meets such as the Junior Olympics as well as Far Westerns. I consider myself to be an excellent student of the sport due to my ability to adapt to all scenarios and situations presented with all different types of swimmers. No two swimmers are the same and therefore no two swimmers can be coached the same, and that's where I pride myself on my ability to diversify between each individual athlete. You'll hear me say things like, "There's a method to the madness" thousands of times over the course of this short season, and trust me, that's because there is. I'm ecstatic to finally be able to get out on deck this season and really get to connect with all of you. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I can be reached on my cell phone: 916-765-4918. As well as by email: Tsunamis lead the way!

Co-Head Coach Caroline Coffman:

Hello Tsunamis! My name is Caroline Coffman and I am incredibly excited to be coming back as one of the co-head coaches for the Tsunamis. I'm looking forward to coming back to have another successful and fun season. I have previously coached for a different swim team in Folsom for five summers in a row and then took a break after transferring to California State University, Sacramento. I started swimming when I was five years old and have always had a passion for the sport. I then swam for my high school, Vista Del Lago, and lettered all four years (made varsity team). While attending Sacramento State I taught art classes for Dream Enrichment and really enjoyed it. After graduating from Sacramento State I started the teaching credential and will be graduating in May with the hopes to find a kindergarten or first grade teaching position. I can't wait for another absolutely amazing season and the plans that we have for this summer! If there are any questions, comments, or concerns, I can be easily reached by cell phone (call/text) at (916)-817-0240, as well as by email at Go Tsunamis!!
