The Sand Otter Swim Team offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Sand Otter Swim Team to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Level One
This is our entry level group. An athlete should be able to swim one length of the pool.

Level One Coach:  Josh Fate / Joanna Nicole Johnson

  M-F

Level Two
From the Level One group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn technique.

Level Three
From the Level Two group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group are usually at least 10 years old and have completed the Level Two move-up skills list. This group is exposed to training for the first time while trying to prepare for the 200 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley races. Competing at swim meets is highly encouraged at a rate of about once per month.

Workout Days/Times:  M-F

Level Three (Fremont Middle School Swimmers 7 & 8 Grade)
Minimum age for entry into this group is 11 years old. Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. The athletes in this group will swim for their Middle School Team train with Sand Otter Swimming prior to the start and after the conclusion of their Middle School season.

High School - Senior Group
This group consists of High School aged athletes. Athletes entering the Senior group must display a strong desire to perform at their highest level. Training is geared towards individual talents with a strong focus on strength and aerobic endurance.

Workout Days/Times:  M-F 3-4:30 PM
