Our teams are successful because of you! Volunteering is a fun way to get to know how a swim meet is run, be involved with your swimmer’s swim team experience, and to meet other swim families. All parents are expected to sign-up for at least 3 volunteer shifts for the regular season. You may be asked to sign-up for an additional shift as needed. If you are unable to fulfill this requirement, at registration you may opt out by paying $300 for the entire summer. This means that you will be exempt from volunteering for the season. If you miss an assigned shift, you will be charged $75. Our swim team will use these funds to purchase future swim team equipment.

If you are unable to fulfill the position that you signed up for, please find a substitute and make sure this person is aware of what is expected. You also must notify the Parent Volunteer Coordinator before the meet of any changes. If your replacement does not show up, the swimmers from your family will not be permitted to swim in the next meet until the $75 fee has been paid and that fee must be paid by the following Tuesday. There will be two shifts per meet. Shifts will be communicated via email sent by the Parent Volunteer Coordinators the week prior to the meet.

Returning volunteers get priority to sign up if returning to their same position in 2019.

All other positions are given on a first come first served basis beginning at the Parent Info Meetings taking place on 3/25/2020 and 3/26/2020.

Filled and needed positions will be then be placed on this page on 3/30/2020.

Please email Rachel Lyon (seahawksteam@hrcaonline.org) if you are interested or have any questions!

**Volunteer assignments will be accessed through TeamUnify by clicking on the "Job Sign-Up" button for each swim meet or team event. The shift that you signed up for becomes your responsibility and so if you need a sub you must find one on your own and communicate who your replacement is to the Parent Volunteer Coordinators.**
