Test Sets

The following test sets will be given on a weekly basis.  Our goal is to become more efficient swimmers.  Each week record your times and stroke counts in your log books.  Over time we will see great improvements in both our stroke counts and speed.

Coach Simon Efficiency Test:  20 x 50 @ 1:15  time standard to hold, count strokes----hold time, decrease stroke count.   DPS before stroke rate.   Heart Rate = 150

Coach Simon Breaststroke Efficiency Test:  20 x 50 @ 1:15 3-2 Barrowman Drill

McElroy Special:    10 x 300 with 20 seconds Rest  Total time - total rest = time
