Belmont Aquatic Team is a coach-run, parent administered team. The Board works closely with the Head Coach to administer policies set by the Head Coach and Board of Directors. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend monthly board meetings, which will be listed on the team calendar.  Minutes of these meetings are distributed to the team. Please be sure to read the minutes as this is the main communication about the team status for families.

Parent Volunteer Committees

There are other opportunities for parents to help out the team throughout the year.  If you are interested in volunteering for any of these positions, please contact any member of the board.

  • Web Site Communications (Year-Round):  1 volunteer with web technology experience is needed to update/upload information to the BAT website on a continuous basis.

  • Belmont High School Liaison (Year-Round):  1 volunteer is needed to act as a liaison with the Belmont High School for all BAT needs, i.e. practice schedules, etc.

  • Birthday Splash (Monthly):  Swimmers’ birthdays are celebrated at Friday practice monthly with fun games at the end of practice.

  • Annual Swim Banquet (April):  4-6 volunteers are needed to run the banquet which involves booking a location and catering, table set-up and centerpieces, coordinating the team raffle, and producing a team slide show. 

  • Annual Short Course Kick-Off BBQ (September): 3-4 volunteers are needed to run the BBQ which involves booking a location and coordinating food donations from swim families.

  • Regional and Age Group Dinners/Pancake Breakfast (Jan-March):  1-2 volunteers are needed to make arrangements for team dinners/breakfasts as needed.

  • Team Photographer (Feb-April):  1 volunteer is needed to take the annual team and age group photos.
