Welcome to Jersey Storm Swimming

We are open to both civilian and military families!

Jersey Storm is a USA Swimming year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and individualized technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve their own swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

We are a non-profit club that is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome (and encouraged) to attend each meeting as well as to be involved in all team activities and fundraisers.

Our team is constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a well rounded competitive swim team. Thank you for joining us. We are looking forward to meeting you!

Mission and Goals
Jersey Storm is a year-round developmental and competitive swim program that is dedicated to the total physical, social, and psychological development of each child. Storm's goal is to develop each child in a fun and productive atmosphere. The Jersey Storm coaching staff has extensive coaching experience and strives to teach each child the values of dedication, responsibility, and determination through goal setting, time management, and hard work. These values are what help the Jersey Storm Swimmers succeed not only in the pool but in life as well.

History
In 1971, the Fort Dix Aqua Devils was organized and became part of the Fort Dix Youth Activities Program. In 1991, the team became a private, non-profit organization and changed their name to Jersey Storm Swimming. At this time, the STPA was formed and took over the management and administrative responsibilities of the team. The team strives for excellence in all the swimmers and encourages every one of the swimmers to do the best that they can. This goal pertains not only to swimming goals, but personal goals and achievements as well, during the course of their young lives.
