Our program operates out of Health Trax Warwick RI:
Our Swim School offers Swim lessons, Private Coaching, Small Group coaching, Video Analysis and many other services.
Our program starts swimmers at 6 months of age but also caters to adults. Our classes run in a 1 instructor to 4 swimmer ratio and all classes are 30 min in length.
You select a day and time that works best with your schedule which will become your weekly time slot for lessons.
The swimmers progress at their own rate in our program, meaning if they are ready to move up a level in 6 lessons we will progress them at that point, if they are ready in 12 lessons we will progress them at that time.
You will also have the flexibility of changing instructors to find the best instructor for your child or you can stay with an instructor for as long as you like, through as many different levels as you like.
Starting January 1, 2015 all classes will be a flat rate of $70.00 per month. All classes should be paid in full at the beginning of each month or 2 payments of $35.00 each. The first 3 classes you pay as you come to ensure that this is the right program for you and your family.
Annual registration fees are as follows: For 1-2 swimmers a $30 payment per swimmer; for 3 swimmers a $60 payment per family; and for 4 or more swimmers a $90 payment
If you cannot make a class for any reason ( i.e. child gets sick, you get held up a work, the pool closes, you go on vacation, a public holiday, weather conditions or any other reason at all) you just call, cancel and then reschedule it for a different day of the week. This ensures that you will never lose a lesson or money in our program.
Since we do not run in sessions and we do not have annual contracts, if at any time you would like to take time off you just give us two weeks’ notice and you will then enter an inactive status. You can resume lessons at any time.
Our Schedule is very Flexible and you can let us know what days and times work best with your schedule. Additional information on the scheduling and groups will be found under the main tab of Learn to Swim on this website.
Swimming Caps and Goggles:
Swimming caps are compulsory, for every child (except parent and child classes). Your first cap can be purchased when the Aqua Swim Annual registration fee is paid. The caps are also color coded by each learn to swim group. Swim caps will help retain heat for each swimmer and help keep hair out of your child’s face. These caps can be purchased from the staff.
Goggles are not compulsory however they are highly recommended as they will aid in your Childs learning process. All goggles should be sized to each child. You can purchase goggles from our staff.
Please do not allow your children into the pool before their allocated lesson time. The teachers are busy with other classes and cannot be expected to supervise other children at the same time. Please encourage the children not to run around the pool area as it often gets slippery. The toys we use for instruction are for in pool only and children should not approach the baskets and remove toys as if left out it could cause injury.
All patrons must follow the rules set for by each aquatic facility.
All of our teachers follow a set lesson procedure. If you have any queries about the lesson, or your child’s development relating to their swimming skills, please do not hesitate to ask either the teacher, if time permits, or another staff member.
Food and Drinks:
No food or drinks other than water bottles are allowed in the pool area.
Canceled or Return Checks:
There will be a $15.00 service charge on all canceled or returned checks.
