The NASA Board of Directors, in conjunction with several NASA Alumni, would like to inform
you about an opportunity created to help continue bringing the gift of swimming to young athletes
throughout the community. The reason for establishing this fund is born from within the very Mission of
NASA and the desire to continue the proud tradition of Northridge swimming.
Throughout the 20 year history of the Northridge swimming programs, there have been many
student athletes that have benefited from their participation and affiliation with NASA. Many of these
individuals have had to overcome significant obstacles in their lives to participate in swimming, and
many continue to do so today.
Your donations will help create scholarship opportunities and assist athletes so they may continue
to participate in swimming and enjoy the many benefits that come from that participation. Through the
donations of current and former parents, alumni, friends and family members, NASA will continue
benefiting the community for the next 20 years!
The Alumni fund will be managed by the Elkhart County Community
Foundation and provide two valuable opportunities to NASA. First will be a scholarship
opportunity for swimmers, and the second is access to a fund that can be used for immediate costs to
assist families in emergency or other need. The Board of Directors will determine how the funds are
utilized. The fund has reached its minimum level and funds may be made available in the upcoming seasons.
There are several methods available to donate.
