Sponsorship provides revenue for much needed swim team equipment repair and replacement. In exchange, the Calverton Chargers will deliver our sponsors' brand to the Charger community, CSC membership, and hundreds of Montgomery County residents from visiting MCSL teams that we host throughout the six-week summer swim season. There is economic diversity among our audience and tremendous potential to reach individuals as well as the businesses they own and work for. If you, your employer, or anyone you know who may be interested in partnering with the Calverton Chargers, please contact the Erika Kelley 301-467-4753 for more information.

ONLINE ADVERTISING. Logo/brand recognition and link to sponsor's online presence via the home page of the Calverton Charger’s team website is included in sponsorship.

OUTDOOR SIGNAGE/ADVERTISING. Professional 48 x 72" color outdoor vinyl banner printed with UV resistant ink will be designed, printed locally, and displayed during every home-hosted event. Sponsor may provide a banner or the cost of the banner may be included in sponsorship. Returning sponsors are expected to return their banner for use during the swim season.

VERBAL RECOGNITION. Sponsors will be announced and recognized at every HOME event including Time Trials, A and B dual meets, Division Championships, B-Relay Carnival, Mini-Meet, and end-of-season Swim/Dive Banquet. The Charger community and visiting teams will be encouraged to patronize your business and/or services. See sponsorship proposal for this season's schedule of events.

PRINT. Logo recognition on each home-hosted program/psych sheet, and on event posters throughout the season, such as team breakfast and pasta dinner.

PROMOTIONAL ITEMS AND GIVE AWAYS.  In addition to advertising and promotion opportunities, sponsors may supply “give aways” and other promotional materials that are appropriate for some, or all, listed events if they so choose.

When and where will you promote my brand?

The summer swim season is deceptively short, but we pack a lot into six weeks. Each event holds tremendous potential for brand exposure and PR opportunities. See sponsorship proposal for this season's schedule of events.

Who is my audience?

Pre-Season Time Trials: Swimmers hit the water for the first time each season with an opportunity to showcase their skills and practice new ones. Charger officials, timers, automation team, concessions, announcers, and parents blow off the winter dust, and the entire Charger community participates.

Dual A-Meets: Two MCSL teams compete head-to-head and bring swimmers with fastest times in each event.

Dual B-Meets*: Two MCSL teams compete head-to-head. Entry is open to ALL swimmers, providing an opportunity to gain competition experience, practice stroke skills, and achieve goals. B-meets are evening events*, and extended families often attend. The swim club is also open to membership during HOME Wednesday evening B meets, and on hot summer evenings there is tremendous potential brand exposure to a significant number, and diverse group, of patrons.

B-Relay Carnival*: Six teams are invited to participate in an enormous meet comprised of relay-only events. Relay teams compete in categories and combinations that include gender-specific, mixed-gender, age group, mixed age group, single stroke, or mixed-stroke relays. This meet is the largest of all HOME hosted events.

Mini-Meet: The youngest members of the Charger community are given an opportunity to shine at this once-a-year event charged with enthusiasm and encouragement from older teammates, coaches, and parents. The Chargers have traditionally invited additional MCSL teams to participate, which increases attendance at this event.

Division Championship Meet: All six teams in the division compete for the division title. Extended family and friends often accompany swimmers, club members come to watch the excitement, and alumni sometimes return to cheer for the Chargers.

Swim/Dive Banquet: The Charger swim and dive communities come together to celebrate at the end of the summer swim season. Parents and coaches go all-out for this annual event that includes an awards ceremony, a catered meal, DJ and games, themed decorations, and an end-of-year video which showcases the season highlights and bids farewell to graduating seniors. Swimmers, divers, immediate and extended families, and friends attend this event.

*Evening meets are historically well attended by hungry parents, family, and spectators. The club is also open to the entire membership, and depending on weather conditions, there is potential exposure to an additional 200-300 members who are patronizing the facilities (volleyball leagues, basketball, horseshoes, barbecues and picnics at grills, swimming in warm-down pool, shallow end, and kiddie pool, etc.)
