Abbey Meister - Assistant Swim Coach
My name is Abbey and I am a new graduate nurse at Children's Hospital. After being away last year, I am excited to return as an assistant coach, reconnecting with some old faces and learning new ones! I have been apart of the Shady Lane family for seven years, swimming on the team, lifeguarding, and coaching. I love being around the water and facilitating the summer swim friendly-fun competitive environment I grew up loving since age six, making summertime memories with lifelong friends! I'm excited to coach and encourage our swimmers to attend practices focused, work on technique and endurance, be competitive in beating their personal best times and other swimmers, foster good sportsmanship, and continue building on our team spirit and support for one another. Most of all, let's have fun!!! GO STINGRAYS!!
