Senior Squad Team Captain:

Cassis

I am one of the Silvertip swimmers, the oldest in the club. I’ve been swimming with the Glacier Bears for 8 years and still can’t get enough of it! I enjoy all aspects of training and competition, but I also love the team atmosphere. As a team captain, I will work to ensure that our positive and motivating mood will never fail. I am always here to help out or give advice to anyone in need. I also have experience at high levels of competition, such as Canadian Age Group Nationals and AAA’s, so I believe I am well equipped for this honorable role as Female Team Captain.

My name is Aidan Harvey and I’m the male team captain for the Whitehorse Glacier Bears groups. This is my ninth year swimming in the club and I’ve enjoyed every step of the way. As a team captain I make sure that information gets around to all the groups, ensure that the senior swimmers are acting as good role models for the younger kids and making sure the older kids socialize with the younger ones. It is important for everyone to know everyone else in the club. I believe the best way to meet these expectations is by example. I have competed at the AA and AAA level. I’m very happy to be given the honor and I feel like I will do a good job.
