The Concord Swim Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Concord Swim Club to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities. Concord Swim Club has 3 main practice groups with sub-groups to divide athletes based on their needs.

Senior Group is designed to prepare athletes to succeed at the High School and College Level. Athletes are 14 years old and above (High School Students/College Athlete) Practices are generally 120-180 minutes long with about 6 -9 practices per week. The recommended minimum number of practices per week is 6. Athletes in this group will focus on fitness and technique as well as transition from IM/Endurance to athlete’s specific specialization.
Neptune Black is geared towards athletes ready to push towards high levels of competitive swimming. Swimmers are between the ages of 11 and 14. Generally 13-14's with Divisional cuts and 11-12's with State Cuts. Practices are 2 - 2.5 hrs long and there are 6-9 practices per week offered. The recommended minimum practice attendance per week is 6. Some morning practices will be offered.
Neptune Grey group is geared toward teaching swimmers about how to train and work hard in practice. The training/technique ratio is 40/60. Swimmer are between the ages of 11 and 14. Generally 11-12's with Divisional cuts and 13-14 swimmers without Divisional cuts (with previous swimming experience) will be in this group. Practices are about 1.5-2 hrs long and 6 practices per week are offered. Recommended minimum practice attendance is 4-5 per week.
Neptune Green group is for new swimmers or swimmers with less experience, between the ages of 11 to 14. There will be a lot of teaching in this group. Practices are 1-1.5 hrs long and there are 5-6 practices per week. Recommended minimum practice attendance is 3-4 per week.
Poseidon Black group will focus on technique and introduce training skills. Athletes will be age 10 or younger. Generally swimmers with State Cuts or Multiple Divisional Cuts will be in this group. Practices are around 1.5 hrs long and there are 5-6 per week. Recommended minimum practice attendance is 4 per week.
Poseidon Grey group will be primarily teaching. Swimmers 10 years old or younger are in this group. Generally swimmers with a Divisional cut or newer/less experience are in this group. Practices are 1 hr long and there are 4-5 per week. Recommended minimum practice attendance is 3-4 per week.
Poseidon Green is for new swimmers. There will be lots of teaching in this group. Swimmers must be comfortable on there own and in deep water. All swimmers will be 10 years old or younger. Must be at least 6. Practices are 45 min long and there are 4 practices per week. Recommended minimum practice attendance is 2-3 per week.
