Freestyle Course

Adult Freestyle Course

Do you have endurance, but is your technique lacking? Or, are you starting out and don’t want to fall in the trap of developing bad habits? With this course you will learn everything about the freestyle glide stroke: A more effortless and efficient freestyle—swimming faster with less energy input! Every week you will take a 60-minute lesson in which all the technique aspects of the freestyle will be explained and practiced through proven progressions and drills.

This technique course is suitable for almost any level of swimmer, from triathletes to masters, from beginner to experienced, but participants must be comfortable swimming repetitive laps of 25 yards freestyle to take the course. Not quite there yet? Perhaps our private lessons with Coach Marieke are an option for you!

Above- and underwater video will be used to enhance the learning process. Take monthly modules of the course independently or, for maximum effectiveness, take the entire step-by-step 5-month course from beginning to end.

This course is taught in a group setting. The maximum number of swimmers per group is 18. If you prefer to take this course in a private or semi-private setting with one or more friends or teammates, please register for our private or semiprivate lessons.

At the completion of this course, not only will you understand how the glide stroke is performed correctly, but you will also know what you do right and wrong and how you can improve.
