KISU Swim Club Sponsorships and Donations

Our fees and government grants are used to cover the operations of our club including pool rentals and staff salaries. We seek sponsorships to cover other major expenses such as meet equipment, team travel, coach development and to support our financial assistance programs. Below you will find the opportunities available and the recognition we are pleased to offer.

[your name here] Fall Meet Sponsor - $1200

Our signature event is a three-day meet in October where swimmers can get times for all standard events. This is a very popular meet in the region and attracts an enormous turnout. As the meet sponsor, we will rename the meet to your company name and your brand will feature prominently in all documentation and promotion for the meet including advertisements on our web page and on the cover sheet of our heat sheets. We will also produce a club banner for the meet featuring your logo.

[your name here] Spring Meet Sponsor - $800

Our second main meet of the season is in the spring. This two-day event is also very popular in the region as swimmers shoot to qualify for Tier I's or other elite meets. As the meet sponsor, we will rename the meet to your company name and your brand will feature prominently in all documentation and promotion for the meet including advertisements on our web page and on the cover sheet of our heat sheets. We will also produce a club banner for the meet featuring your logo.

Annual Club T-shirt Sponsor - $1500

Every year, the club produces a new shirt as part of the team uniform. Our 190+ swimmers are asked to wear the t-shirts at all club activities. As the club t-shirt sponsor, your logo will appear on the backs of the shirts.

Lane Sponsorship (10)

New Sponsors (or those requiring a new sign)  - $500     Returning Sponsors - $400

KISU hosts two main meets each year attracting hundreds of swimmers and their families from around the region. These meets are an excellent opportunity for local businesses to market their services to the meet guests. At these events, Kisu will place professionally produced Coroplast signs at the end of each lane to advertise the support of the sponsor. Your logo will be on display for the full five days of both meets and will be prominent in promotional materials. There are 10 lane sponsorship opportunities.

Scholarship Sponsors (10) - $500

Each year, KISU awards graduating swimmers attending post-secondary education with a $500 scholarship. As the scholarship sponsor, we will rename a scholarship in your honor and include your brand in all online promotions and media announcing the scholarship recipients. You will also have the opportunity to identify the qualities you would like the scholarship to recognize. There are 10 scholarship sponsorship opportunities.

Cash Sponsors

For individuals and companies interested in supporting our club in a less public manner, we also accept and recognize cash sponsorships. These contributions are especially important to helping us cover the costs of travel to meets. Cash contributions are considered sponsorships as we are not able to give tax receipts.

National Sports Trust Fund – KISU AccessAbility

KISU has registered its AccessAbility program with the National Sports Trust Fund. Donors can make contributions to this fund to support our paraswimming program and to provide financial assistance to swimmers from low-income families. The NSTF will issue a charitable receipt for your contribution of $100 or more.

Albatross Mega Swim:

This event now runs in early December.  Swimmers seek pledges and donations from family members, friends, neighbors, and local businesses. Each swimmer is encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 towards our club goal of $10,000. 24-hour relay swimmers are expected to raise $200 minimum. You can use our online donation tool or collect cash and cheques. Please find the cash/cheque donation form attached to the event to print out and use. **When entering cash/cheque donations on to your swimmer's fundraising account, please total all cash/cheque donations and enter as a single donation entry. All offline donations will be verified once received by KISU.
