   Algona - Wahoo Swim Team

  Black Hawk County Pirates

The Black Hawk County YMCA Pirates swim team program is for all ages (7-21 years) and abilities (must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle). Our state-certified coaches work to improve swimmers skill level and endurance, and to promote a healthy lifestyle.   Burlington - Burlington Bull Sharks

Everyone's a winner in the YMCA Swim Team. Swimmers celebrate the mission and values of the YMCA through teamwork and sportsmanship. Emphasis is on enjoying swimming and doing one's best. The Bull Sharks are a winter only team. Contact Karen Thie, Aquatic Director at (319) 753.6734 ext. 126

  Cedar Rapids Metro Area - MACR Sharks

The MACR Sharks focus on improving the technique and racing skills of all Sharks swimmers. We strive to improve and develop the swimming technique of all participants in an atmosphere of fun.   Cedar Rapids Metro Area - Marion YMCA

The MARION YMCA participates in the YMCA Summer and Winter League as part of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area MACR Sharks Swim Team.  See above for contact information for the MACR Sharks.

  Cedar Rapids Metro Area - Stoney Point Stingrays

The Stoney Point Stingrays are a summer and winter competitive swim program providing a fun and challenging competitive swim environment where the swimmers will develop life long character skills and healthy fitness lifestyles. Contact Stacey Crist at [email protected] 

  Charles City - Charles City YMCA

  Creston - Southern Prairie YMCA Stingrays

  Des Moines Area - Walnut Creek Dolphins

  Des Moines Area - Waukee - Waukee YMCA Rays Swim Team

The Waukee YMCA Team Aquatics with the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility as their guide, our skilled coaches will work with swimmers/divers to help them achieve their individual goals while keeping swimming/diving a safe, fun and healthy activity.   Dubuque - Dubuque Dolphins

The Dubuque Dolphin Swim Team is a competitive program that focuses on all the strokes to promote a life long activity that stresses goals and the four core values; caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility, of the Dubuque Community Y. The participants will feel a sense of team belonging which will help them develop good leadership skills, self-esteem, and individual successes.   Forest City YMCA

  Fort Madison YMCA Swim Team

Swimmers ages 5yrs. - 21yrs. (must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted without stopping & cannot have participated on a college team.) and invited to come join the Fort Madison Family YMCA Swim Team.   Greater Omaha Sailfish (YMCA of)

The YMCA of Greater Omaha Sailfish train at the Kirn Pool YMCA in Council Bluffs, Iowa and the Southwest YMCA, Maple St YMCA, Twin Rivers YMCA, Armbrust YMCA and downtown Omaha YMCA in Omaha, NE.  Offering year round programs the Sailfish are a dual registered YMCA/ USA swim club.   Keokuk (Hoerner) YMCA Swim Team

  Indianola Tide

The Indianola Tide's mission is to promote the sport of swimming by providing tailored instruction to our community's youth.   Marshalltown - Blue Waves Swim Team

  Monticello - Monticello Swim Team (MACR Sharks)

Monticello offers both a summer rec swim team and a more competitive, longer season in the winter, from November 1-April 1. The winter program is operated out of the Cedar Rapids YMCA MACR Sharks team but practices are held in Monticello. For more information about either program, contact Lisa Folken at 319.480.6572

  Newton - Newton YMCA Penguins

  Nishna Valley Family YMCA

The Flying Sharks swim team is a competitive winter swimming league offered for training, instruction, and competition for youth ages 5-18. The goal of the program is to develop the life-long appreciation for the sport of competitive swimming while modeling and teaching YMCA values which include honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility.   Red Oak - MCYMCA Sharks

  Sioux City Area (Northwest Iowa) - Le Mars Stingrays

  Spencer - Spencer YMCA Tigersharks

The Spencer YMCA Tigersharks Swim Team is a competitive age-group swim team that competes in YMCA competition from November to March. They also have a recreational summer league. Contact Sandy Holck at (712) 262.3782

  Spirit Lake - Bedell Family YMCA Barracudas

The Bedell YMCA Barracudas Swim Team is a competitive program that runs from November through Mid-March. The Barracudas also have a recreational summer league. Contact Angie Gillespie at (712) 336-9622

  Washington - Washington Water Sharks

The Washington Water Sharks seek to encourage and motivate each swimmer to develop his or her individual skills and to enhance self-esteem. Everyone involved in the coordination of the swim team: the administration, aquatics personnel, swim team parent group and coaches, pledge to make this an experience that will positively shape your child.
