Swanson & Werdine Acknowledged for Scholastic All-American Status

October 2010 � Congratulations to Chris Swanson and Becca Werdine for this amazing accomplishment!! Each year, USA Swimming recognizes its members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The Scholastic All-American Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event. The time standards for 2010-2011 have now been posted on the USA Swimming web site. To be eligible for this recognition, swimmers must have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade and must be a USA Swimming member athlete. USA Swimming members can achieve SAA status by earning a 3.5 GPA and achieving the 2000 Junior National Bonus Time Standard in sanctioned, approved or observed competition or swimming in a specified Disability championship meet or the National Open Water Championships.
