TBAY had a fantastic showing at this years 2012 Florida Sr. Championships held in Orlando.  This meet had many of the top swimmers from the state, country and world including Olympic Gold Medalists and World Record Holders Ryan Lochte and Peter Vanderkay.  TBAY finished 2nd in the overall standing solidifying its status as one of the premiere clubs the the state of Florida.  TBAY has finished in the top 3 at JO's and Sr. Champs over the last 4 years.  We are looking to have another outstanding meet coming up next week as our top 14 and under head to Sarasota for this years FLAGS (formally know as JO's).

We had many outstanding performances over the 4 day event with many medalist, finalist and best times.  TBAY Central had 2 noticeable standouts performances over the weekend. 1st off Hannah Fredlake qualified for the Florida All-Star Team in the open water event with her amazing 1650Fr swim on Thursday night.  Hannah was still able to make the team despite losing her cap with 200 yds to go and swimming with her hair all up in her face.  If you are interested in seeing her last 25 of the race please check out Facebook Site - http://www.facebook.com/pages/TBAY-Central/169505846404008. Another out standout performance was set by 15yr old Jordan Wheeler in the 200 Fly. Jordan finished 2nd in the 14-16 category with an amazing swim going 2:08 LCM in finals and getting his Jr. National cut. Way to go Jordan!!!
