May 2010 � This past Friday, almost 40 TBAY swimmers took part in the first 3.6-mile Picnic Island Adventure Run Series (the final two races are on June 11 and July 9). After the race, all the swimmers and families stayed and had drinks and sandwiches and played a bit of football on the beach. The run consist of Beach Running, Trail Running, Crawling, Jumping, Stream Crossing, & a Sunset. This event is organized by Hillsborough Trails and great custom awards go to the Top 50 Males and Top 50 Females. Top Overall Male and Female and Top Overall Male and Female Masters will get a custom artwork trophy. There are 2 more of these runs this summer (June 11th and July 9th).
