August 2011 � Congratulations to Chris Swanson (16) who qualified for the 2012 USA Olympic trials!!! Chris received his Olympic Trial cut in the 1500 Free with a time of 15:53 at last week's Jr. National in Palo Alto, California. Way to go Chris!! The 2012 Olympic trial will be held in Omaha Nebraska June 25, 2012.

Also a another congratulations goes out to Rasmus Skjaerpe (15) for breaking the 200 Fly Norwegian Jr. National Record. Rasmus went 2:06 in the 200 Fly to break the record. This is a fantastic accomplishment considering he is only 15 years of age. Also the boys smashed 2 records at the 2011 Jr. Nationals. They broke the 400 FR record by over 2 seconds and then on the last day of the meet shattered 19 year old record by over 9 seconds in the 400 Medley relay. WOW....very impressive!! Congrats on a great meet boys!!! The 400 Fr Relay consisted of DJ Waite, Skjaerpe, Ryan Peters and Swanson. The 400 Medley Relay consisted of Skjaerpe, Kevin Smith, Swanson and Waite.
